Our experience also includes re-creating site templates from scratch when converting a site to different server technology (ie PHP to ColdFusion). Our ColdFusion and PHP experience level is beginner-intermediate, but we're focusing on PHP5 right now.

How we do it well

It's actually pretty simple, we listen to clients. We'll meet with you in person, via email, or over the phone to assess your needs and ideas. Once this step is completed we organize and present this compiled info to our clients as to what should be included in the initial site design.

Once approved, 50% of the estimated project cost is required to start a project. We'll develop a Photoshop site layout (or more if requested) and documents that outline the functionality & features of your web site. A meeting to discuss these layouts helps to clarify the direction of site development and refine ideas.

After a layout is chosen, we'll develop a set of working concept pages to demonstrate the site's look and feel. These working concepts outline the type and number of page templates to be completed, as well as the individual elements for each page.

At this point it should be noted that general testing is done at every stage of development. StartFusion also tests the site's functions and appearance in a variety of web browsers. Changes requested at this point which were not part of the initial project specifications will require a work order request.

When StartFusion has completed all of the project objectives and received final client approval, we require the remainder of the estimated project cost before uploading the completed site to a live server. Lastly, we'll upload your site's code and images to a live server of your choosing.
